I think the length on your flail is just right. 18 inches is better than 8.

I dunno.

I think he would have more control. And he could give it more momentum easier.
But that's just me.
You should use a nerf soccerball as the head. That way it's tons heaver and gives a better hit.

I am *guessing* that you'll need at least two camp pads to fully pad your shield though. I will go to wallmart sometime this weekend.

just follow the tutorial and I won't have to slap you upside the head for a dangerous shield :P

i get momentum pretty easy,
but i'm just way over the top with it, and prefer spinning it faster for intimidation purposes (im completely terrifyed of fighting people if their using my flail

)
but yeah, a Nerf soccer ball would do very nicely, if i modify the design of the one you sent me, i could make a great one
